This offers additional protection if the wearer is not facing the radiation source.

This model has an arm cut-out through which you put on the X-ray apron. If you undo the Velcro fasteners on this X-ray apron, the X-ray apron will not fall to the floor. The X-ray apron is still held to the body by the arm cut-outs.

What should I pay attention to when wearing the X-ray apron?

This X-ray apron is a one-piece suit that has additional radiation protection in the area of the upper back (this is not the case with model 1107). This provides additional protection if the wearer is not facing the radiation source. Irrespective of this, you should urgently avoid turning your back to the radiation source when wearing this X-ray apron.

Who is the X-ray apron suitable for?

The X-ray apron is suitable for all genders and can be used optimally in the central OR in particular. In our opinion, this X-ray apron is not recommended for use in cardiology, vascular surgery and radiology.
